Creating or opening a project
A project is the file that holds every circuit you work on, saved to your account. Project → New starts a brand-new, empty project — if the one you're on has unsaved changes it asks you to confirm first, so nothing is lost by accident. Project → Open shows a browser of your saved projects, organized into folders, each with a live preview thumbnail; click one to load it. Both actions live in the Project menu at the top-left of the top bar.
Step 1 — Open the Project menu
Click Project at the top-left of the top bar. New starts an empty project from scratch; Open browses what you've already saved. If your current project has unsaved changes — marked with an asterisk next to its name — either action first asks you to confirm discarding them.
Step 2 — Browsing folders and projects
Open shows your projects as cards with a live preview, grouped inside folders you can navigate into and out of. Use the folder controls to organize your work as it grows; click any project's card to load it into the editor.
Step 3 — Name it the first time you save
A brand-new project has no name yet. The first time you save it — via Project → Save, Project → Save As, or Circuit → Save circuit — you're asked to name it and choose a folder. After that, Save just writes to the same place, and Save As lets you branch off a copy under a new name or folder.
