Tour of the interface
The workspace is built from a fixed top bar and a set of floating panels around an infinite canvas. The top bar holds the Project, Circuit, View, Tools and Help menus on the left, the project/circuit breadcrumb in the middle, and your account menu on the right. The canvas is where circuits are built: drag components onto it, wire them together, and pan or zoom freely. Around it float the Components panel (the parts palette), the Properties panel (settings for whatever is selected), and, when opened, the Package, Toolbar, Align and Logic Analyzer panels — each can be shown or hidden from the View menu, dragged to a new position, and resized.
The top bar
Five menus sit on the left: Project (new/open/save), Circuit (manage the circuits inside the project), View (toggle panels), Tools (Logic Analyzer) and Help (search and documentation). The middle shows a breadcrumb — project name, then circuit name, then sub-circuit name if you've drilled into one — click an earlier segment to jump back out. Your account menu sits on the right, opening Profile, Preferences and Sign out.
The canvas
The canvas is an infinite grid you pan by dragging empty space and zoom with the scroll wheel or a pinch gesture. Drag a component in from the Components panel to place it, or double-click a palette entry to insert it centered in the area you're currently viewing. Click to select a component or wire, drag a rectangle to select several at once, and right-click for a context menu of actions.
Floating panels
Components and Properties are visible by default; Package, Toolbar, Align and Logic Analyzer open on demand from the View and Tools menus. Every floating panel can be dragged by its title bar to a new spot, resized from its edge, and collapsed, expanded or maximized independently of the others, so you can arrange the workspace to match what you're doing.
